The mass spectrometry and separation sciences platform of the COBRA laboratory at the University of Rouen includes an FTICR solariX 2XR mass spectrometer equipped with a 12 T superconducting magnet. This instrument has exceptional performance in terms of resolution and precision of mass measurements thanks to the combination of a very high field and the quadratic detection mode.

The site develops analysis methods dedicated to the characterization of very complex mixtures with applications in the fields of health, energy and the environment.
