The NMR platform of the CEMHTI laboratory (Extreme Conditions and Materials: High Temperature and Irradiation, CNRS UPR 3079) in Orléans is integrated into Infranalytics via access to the community of its 850 MHz (20 T) NMR spectrometer dedicated to high resolution NMR solid state and high temperature NMR. Constituted around an instrumental park of 6 NMR spectrometers (200 → 850MHz), the MateRMag team of the CEMHTI has an internationally recognized expertise in the fields of:

  • Characterization and modeling of the structure of organic, inorganic or hybrid solids and molten media at the atomic scale: crystalline, amorphous, glassy materials from the glass or cement industry, catalysis, dedicated to energy storage, biocompatible, …
  • The monitoring of structure and atomic mobility modifications in materials for the electrochemical storage of energy in charge, discharge (ex situ, in situ): local environment of atoms, measurement of diffusion coefficients, etc.
  • Quantification of the dynamics of very high temperature molten oxides and its impact on rheological properties.
  • The structure and dynamics of molten salts at high temperature, applied to industrial processes (electrolysis, nuclear, metallurgy...).
  • Process monitoring (cleaning, surface treatment, leaching release), applied to ceramics, glass and glass-ceramics
  • Localized imaging and spectroscopy in materials (biomaterials, porous media for catalysis, electrochemical devices ,...).
