The mass spectrometry and separation sciences platform of the CARMeN laboratory at the University of Rouen includes a Bruker timsMRMS FTICR mass spectrometer equipped with an 18 T superconducting magnet. This instrument has exceptional performance in terms of resolution and precision of mass measurements thanks to the combination of a very high field and the quadratic detection mode.
The site develops analysis methods dedicated to the characterization of very complex mixtures with applications in the fields of health, energy and the environment.
