I am a researcher in the Catalytic Processes and Waste Valorization (CPWV) group at the University of the Basque Country (Spain). My research focuses on the development of thermal and catalytic processes for the sustainable production of hydrogen, fuels and value-added chemicals from biomass waste (biorefining). I have co-authored over 60 indexed publications (Scopus ID 22959176600) and made over 120 contributions to national and international conferences. In addition, I am a member of the editorial board and guest editor of several international peer-reviewed journals, as well as a member of the organizing and scientific committees of various international conferences.article 23ccc

We applied the LDI FT ICR MS technique as a new high-resolution technique to study the coke deposited during the conversion of crude bio-oil (complex oxygenated feedstock) on an alumina coated HZSM-5 catalyst.

The use of FT-ICR allowed us to elucidate the composition at the molecular level and the localization of dense coke species, highlighting the dual function of the alumina matrix that explains the more efficient behavior of the catalyst against deactivation. .
