“High Frequency RPE” Mini-Training School (Marseille)
November 21, 2022
RPE_HF.jpg

The vast majority of EPR spectrometers present in Physics, Chemistry or Biology laboratories operate with microwave frequencies around 9-10 GHz (X band). If in principle the use of higher frequencies makes it possible to gain in resolution and sensitivity, the implementation of experiments in the higher frequency ranges Q band (35 GHz) or W band (95 GHz) requires to take into account specific technical difficulties in order to make the best use of the possibilities offered by these devices.
The objective of this HF-EPR micro-school is to give participants an overview of the experimental possibilities provided by Q and W band equipment, their specific constraints (sample size, cavity coupling, relaxation constraints, effects fast passage, etc.), and good practices to implement.

Registration for this day is free but compulsory.
The deadline for registration is fixed at November 14, 2022.
ATTENTION: the number of places is limited to 15!
